Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American television and film actress. She is best known for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other roles of note include the title role of The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Born to a department-store buyer and a kindergarten teacher Martin began her acting career in the age of seven years old when her aunt who was a nanny for actor Michael Landon's kids, assisted her in landing an appearance in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". Following her graduation from Yale University she began to take acting seriously with roles that she was able to land on the small screen and big. Martin, besides acting, she is also a skilled photographer and dancer. She is a mom of two, and also the official spokesperson for Lupus. Following her sister's tragic death at the age of 19 Martin has been trying to educate people about the disease.
