Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith is a Filipino Australian actress, model also a host on TV and a record producer. She has received numerous awards throughout her career. The most notable are two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards as well being awarded five PMPC Star Awards in the TV category. She was also nominated two times for Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis starred as Hiram Kampanerang Kuba (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). She played Dyesebel, the Komiks iconic character from Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. In addition, she hosted the late-night variety show It's Showtime between 2009 and 2020. Anne Curtis born 17 February 1985 is an Filipina-Australian actor who is a model, television host and recording artist. She has been awarded numerous awards over the course of her career, including two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. Additionally she has also been recognized for nominations to two Gawad Urian Awards and 8 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis has appeared in a number of TV series including Hiram (2004-2005) Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). The year 2014 saw her was the Komiks character Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. She has also been a presenter on the popular noontime show, It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father was married by Ojales at the age of 22 in 1982. Jasmine, her younger sister is also an actor. Their father was half sister called Clare who died in 2007 at the age of only four months from heart disease.
