Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. She is most well known for her role as Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy 'Mom.' Calvano is originally from California and initially was attracted to gymnastics. But she decided later to pursue an acting career. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2010 in an Episode of CBS's 'NCIS. Her first big-screen appearance came one year later with the biographical crime-drama film 'J Edgar'. Over the next few years, she established herself as one of the most prestigious actors of today's young. In recognition of her role in the show 'NCIS', she was awarded a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series with a Guest Actor Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013 she was also nominated for an additional Young Artist Award for her appearance as a guest on Disney XD's comedy series, 'Kickin' It'. Calvano played a role in a handful in the episodes "Mom" during its Fourth Season. She played the main actor in the early three seasons of the series. In 2015, her role on 'Mom" earned her the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
